The Illinois Mission is dedicated to the recreation of the Jesuit missionaries
in
New France from 1610-1750.
We are not ordained and do not perform sacramental services. We are simple lay people interested in providing an oft neglected aspect of life in New France, that of religion. While not being able to perform the sacraments, we can lead other lay people looking for an alternative to the usual Protestant Divine Service held at events in praying the rosary and the hours.
